Jordan Couples Group

Wednesday, 6:30pm, Granbury

Please join the Jordan’s for fellowship and study of God’s word each week.  They are currently studying the Sermon on the Mount in the Book of Matthew.  The Jordan group meets on Wednesday night at 6:30pm with couples ages late 30’s to mid 50’s.  They do not have child care available but there is a space for kiddos ages 5-13 years old to watch movies during the meeting.  They welcome all ages into their home and love to mentor young couples.  They have one night a month where they meet for a social activity outside of the home.  Please contact Jimmy at


Hunt’s 50’s Group

Please join Bob and Sheila Hunt for a night of fellowship and study of God’s Word in their Granbury home. The Hunt’s have a very energetic group of 50’s Empty Nesters’ who enjoy discussing the previous Sunday’s message and getting to the heart of scripture verses referenced on stage. In addition to their weekly meetings, they do other fun activities like dinner out, swim parties, and other exciting events!!  Their group strives to serve the community and each other. Foundations Group for Newly Married Couples

StoneWater Church is committed to equipping families to succeed right from the start! We would like to invite couples who have been married less than three years to considered taking part in a new marriage curriculum called the Foundations Group.   Kelly and Rebecca Van Buren will be leading new couples through a long term study to help strengthen communication and lay the foundation for a successful marriage.  Each couple will meet both in group settings and individually with the Van Buren’s throughout this study.  If you are interested in learning more, please complete the attached form and we will contact you as soon as possible.

The Millennial Group will have a social on the week of Thanksgiving and then meet again on November 27, December 4th and 11th. Please contact Bevin or Drew prior to attending for updates on times and locations for weekly meetings.

Brooks Women’s Group

Judy Brooks and Elizabeth Hicks will be facilitating a class on the study by Lisa Harper called “The Gospel of Mark: The Jesus We’re Aching For”

Please join us as Lisa Harper guides us through 7 DVD-guided sessions that follow Jesus through His days of early ministry to the cross.  Come discover what it fully means to be the recipients of His overflowing compassion and the very reason for His all-consuming passion.

We invite you to be a part of our group, where you will meet new ladies, make friends, grow in your faith and be encouraged by women from all walks of life. All ages are welcome, although most are at the “empty nester” stage. Our group is not limited to StoneWater members. Rist Young Adults Group

Monday, 7pm, Offsite

Jim and Stacy Rist facilitate a co-ed open group for StoneWater’s young (18)-30) adults. They meet at the Rist’s home located on the east side of Granbury. This crazy, fun group of young people meet at 7pm for great food and fellowship. The focus of this group is to create a healthy community environment for young adults to connect and share life together. The Rist’s do a great job of guiding this fast paced generation in how to slow down and take time to invest in their spiritual relationship with Christ. The groups principles of acceptance, encouragement, care, and accountability help to foster trust and discussion on the unique issues facing today’s young adult. They are currently studying Crazy Love. Childcare is not available.
