Fuel For Your Marriage

a 5-week marriage series and study

Beginning January 28th, StoneWater Church will engage in a 5 week marriage series titled Fuel For Your Marriage.  During this series, we are encouraging everyone in the church family to walk through a 5-week curriculum that focuses on 5 key areas: God First; Be Fun; Show Honor; Experience Community, and Have Purpose. This study includes 5 devotionals per week, along with questions for you to discuss with others.

You can pick up a copy of the curriculum on Sunday morning at your campus, or you can download and print the curriculum here:

In a Group

Currently in a Community Group?

We encourage anyone in a community group to participate in the study over this 5-week period. We understand this may interrupt an existing study you’re working through, but we feel it is valuable for the entire church to be aligned on this topic. Your group would begin the study the week after the series starts on Sunday, January 28th. This study is designed to accommodate groups that may include singles as well.

Not sure how this study will work for your group?  Don’t hesitate to contact our Associate Pastor of Community, Michael.Marciniak@StoneWaterChurch.com for assistance.

Don’t believe the lie that a marriage series means there’s nothing for you. StoneWater loves those called to be single and those currently single preparing for marriage. We like to tell our singles that the best time to learn about being married is before you get married. That’s why we’ve designed this study and this series with you in mind. Here are a few of the things you can expect and take advantage of during this 5 week series.

  • We are customizing our curriculum to speak directly to singles
  • We’ve designated the 9:30 Coffee House service at the Granbury Campus as a great place to meet other singles.
  • After the 9:30 service, beginning Sunday January 28th, we are going to throw a 30 minute Singles Party in the Conference Room. It will be a full party atmosphere with snacks and drinks. We’ll also have a speaker each week communicating applications specifically for singles from that Sunday’s message.
  • We are providing singles group leaders for you to meet and join a group at our Marriage Group Night on January 30th. After that first Tuesday night, singles will then meet in groups at the church on Monday evenings. Look above for more details on this evening.

New to Groups

Want to work on your marriage with others? Not currently in a community group?

We’ve created Marriage Group Night that will take place each week of the series. Anyone not currently in a group can attend. We’ll kick it off on Tuesday, January 30th at the Granbury Campus with a fun evening of snacks, refreshments, FREE childcare and a trained leader ready to walk with you and others through the study. We’ll allow you to visit with and select the leader that fits you best, identify what days and times are available, and then begin meeting in a group that evening. We’ll have groups meeting at the church on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as many new groups meeting in homes throughout the week.
If you want to work on your marriage, and you don’t want to do it alone, Marriage Group Night on January 30th at the Granbury Campus is the place to be. All you have to do is:

  1. Show up to the Granbury Campus on January 30th from 6-7:30pm
  2. Drop your kids off in FREE childcare for ages Birth-5th Grade
  3. Eat popcorn, snacks and drinks
  4. Hear what to expect during this 5-week study
  5. Get to know and decide which trained group leader you’d like to meet with
  6. Meet at the church with your new leader and group for a few minutes to discuss week 1 of the study and make plans for the coming week
  7. Pick up your kids and go home. It’s that easy.

We know not everyone will be able to meet every Tuesday night. On January 30th, we’ll have leaders that you can meet that will be meeting at the church on Sundays and Mondays the following four weeks of the study, as well as other leaders that will be meeting in homes on many different days of the week.

Also, be sure and check with your Campus Pastor for additional dates or times that groups may be meeting at your specific campus.
