One Day Closer Campus Group
/in Groups Highlight /by Lauryn CarverWe are a group that supports bereaved parents. If you are or know someone who has lost a child, we need you to contact us. We do not mourn like those who have no hope. This is not a program; it is a small group of like-minded people that want to do life together for years to come. We want to be a place where you can be yourself and find ways to deal with your loss in a biblical way. We have a focused curriculum that will provide positive options and real answers that Parents of lost children need to cope. It is open only to parents (husbands and wives) or (parent and step-parent). You must come as a couple because we are called to be one and what you learn needs to be shared and exercised with your spouse. This also allows men to talk to men and women to talk to women of other couples. We are also open only to parents of live birth children as a big part of the sessions will be talking about and enjoying good times experienced during the life of the departed child. This is a place to come and get your sanity back. We enjoy each other and focus on positives (you can find your joy again) Our goal is to be the best version of a bereaved parent we can be.
