We are seeking a passionate, organized, and visionary Kids Ministry Coordinator to lead and oversee our entire Sunday Little Campers ministry for children in the 0-5 age range. The ideal candidate has a deep love for Jesus, a heart for kids and families, and the ability to lead teams with clarity, care, and purpose.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all Sunday services, equipping and scheduling volunteer leaders, and ensuring each classroom is a safe, engaging place for kids to worship, learn about the Bible, and experience God’s love. You’ll work closely with families to foster connection, and help build a welcoming, fun, and faith-filled environment where every child feels seen, valued, and excited to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support all Sunday services across the Kids Ministry
Recruit, train, schedule, and care for volunteer leaders and classroom teams
Ensure classrooms are prepared, welcoming, and aligned with curriculum goals
Cultivate a joyful, Christ-centered atmosphere where kids can grow in faith
Partner with parents to build strong church-family connections
Work with staff and leadership to develop and implement ministry vision
Ideal Candidate:
Has a passion for children’s ministry and a growing relationship with Jesus
Is a strong communicator and team leader
Thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
Has experience leading volunteers and organizing large teams
Is dependable, joyful, and spiritually mature
Time Commitment:
8 hours per week – in person on Sundays, remote during the week with occasional in person meetings for training or special events.
