Great, because the Apostle John wrote, “Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3 (NASB) It is a joy to share these study lessons with you as we dive deeper into interpreting and practicing the words and prophecies in the Bible. I. Our Purpose:  To discover the TRUTH that is clearly revealed in the Bible about the return of Jesus.
II. Our Focus is on the Mission instead of the Timing of the End Times Events!
Everyone wants to know the timing of the End Times, but only Father God knows the time.  Everyone that has ever calculated the timing of the End Times has been wrong!  Don’t be that guy!
Acts 1:6-8 (NASB)  So, when they had come together, they began asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time that You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” 7 But He said to them, “It is not for you to know periods of time or appointed times which the Father has set by His own authority; 8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”
III.  End Times Study Should Make Us Even More Diligent to Preach the Gospel to All the Nations.
Studying the End Times can be a rabbit hole that takes us off of the mission of Jesus.  Trying to understand the exact timeline of the end time events has led some to be ineffective at making disciples of all the nations.  Study and know what you believe about the return of Jesus, but don’t let your whole mission in life be the End Times.  Jesus said our focus should be on the mission of making disciples and preaching the Gospel to the whole world.
Matthew 24:14 (NASB)  This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
